My last full day in Colorado took me to the Garden of the Gods and up above the clouds to Pike’s Peak, the mountain that inspired the song “America the Beautiful”.

With concert plans cancelled, I decided to still make my way out to Red Rocks to see the venue and learn about the history of the world’s greatest outdoor music venue. Afterwards, a trip to the town of Evergreen and a snowy walk near Mount Blue Sky.

The museum of art, an exploration of Colorado’s history and an unforgettable trip to Casa Bonita. Day three was a cultural experience!

Wandering around Denver, a visit to the Museum of Nature & Science and an evening with my favorite country artist. Day Two was good to me.

Day one wasn't how I planned it to be, but a surprise run-in led to a very memorable day in the Mile High City.

A week in Colorado, a historic hostel with a questionable past, a whole lot of mountains, and two concerts I’m ridiculously excited about. This trip is definitely going to be fun, but I have a feeling it’s going to mean a little more to me than that.
